Modern Slavery Statement

R.E. Dawson Ltd, trading as Dawsons Department Store, is committed to conducting its business responsibly, ethically and with respect for human rights.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and child labour, and we expect the same standards from the suppliers, manufacturers and other businesses with which we work.

We seek to work with reputable suppliers and brands that share these principles and expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable employment, labour and human rights legislation within the countries in which they operate.

Where appropriate, we may seek information or assurances from suppliers regarding their employment practices, sourcing policies and supply chains. If we become aware of concerns relating to modern slavery or unethical working practices within our supply chain, we will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

We encourage employees, suppliers and other parties to raise any concerns regarding possible modern slavery or human trafficking connected with our business or supply chain.

R.E. Dawson Ltd will continue to review its practices and work with its suppliers to help identify and reduce the risk of modern slavery within its operations and supply chain.
